Your Privacy Choices

What you can do with your data, and how to ask us for the rest

Analytics and tracking

Essential cookies keep you signed in and cannot be turned off. Everything else — Vercel Analytics, Speed Insights and browser error reporting — runs only with your permission, and you can withdraw it here at any time. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a standing “no”.

You have not made a choice yet, so analytics are off.

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front — this control covers the analytics we run ourselves.

If you have an account

You do not need to ask us for the two most common things. Both are self-serve, for every plan:

  • A copy of your data — sign in and open Settings → Profile, then “Download a copy of my data”. You get one JSON file with everything stored in your account: profile, projects (manuscript text included), characters, annotations, series, sharing and payment history.
  • Deleting everything— the same page, “Delete my account”. It removes your account, projects, characters, voice recordings and images, and cancels a subscription we hold a payment reference for — if yours is still being set up, cancel it from the LemonSqueezy customer portal or ask us. This cannot be undone.

Correcting your name, email or preferences is also in Settings.

Ask us for anything else

Use this form for anything the self-serve options do not cover, or if you do not have an account — for instance if your name appears in a manuscript someone else uploaded, or you received a share invitation. We respond within 28 days (45 for California residents), and we never charge for a request or treat you differently for making one.

Use the address on your account if you have one; it is how we confirm the request is yours.

Where are you?

This sets the deadline we hold ourselves to — one month, or 45 days for California residents — and which rights apply. It does not change whether we act.

Complaints

If you are in the EU, UK or Switzerland and are not satisfied with our answer, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. We would rather hear from you first at support@speakeazy.pro.
